| Greetings! Welcome to Angus Puppets boffo new web site! Butch G. Cat here; resident superstar and company mascot! ...I used to be the headliner at our old address. Had my name above the title: "Butch G. Cat Presents" and all that - perhaps you remember! But Terry - my boss, Terry Angus - put me in charge of updating the old web site and, well, ...I ...uh.... Okay! So it's been a few years! Hey, I'm a star! I can't be bothered by such trivial things! I've got telethons! TV commercials! Movie deals! Napping! Furniture to claw! Yarn balls to chase! .....More napping! Not to mention all the bathing! It takes a lot of licks to get this fur looking its best! Unfortunately, Terry, didn't think it should take three years just to update the home page, so he gave the web job to the first dumb sap who volunteered! And just about when I had my home page perfect too! Well, I'm not about to let all those years of artistic genius go to waste! I've cleverly buried a secret link to my original home page somewhere on this page so that you - my adoring fans - can see what I created! Oh, and please, let's keep this on the down low from Terry, okay? If he finds out that I did this, he'll cut off my kibble supply! Go ahead and look for it; I'll wait........ |

Can you believe it?? The guy who took over the web site
dared to remove my "Butch G. Cat Presents" credit above the
title!! Well, I know my rights; so savvy cat that I am, I
showed Terry a certain clause in my contract!
...I also showed him a certain other pair of "clause". ...Which is
probably why I still don't have my name above the title.
So here I am, busted to mascot - but hey it's not a bad gig! I
get to be in the logo - which means that my furry face is on
every page of this web site! It sure beats the Toidy Cat litter
deal! You should see what THEY wanted me to do!
Anyway! As mascot, it is my obligat-- er, distinct honor to
answer that burning question in everyone's mind: Who is Terry
Angus and why does he deserve a web site instead of me?
Connections! That's why! Who is this Jim Henson guy
anyway? And what's a Muppet? Terry says that Henson was
a puppeteer, whatever that is, and that's what Terry is too.
Quite frankly, I don't know what Terry does for a living. All I
know is that whenever I or any of my foam and fur friends
down in the workshop try to do ANYTHING, he's right beside
us, manipulating our every move!
Personally I think the man has control issues.
Relax, boss; I'm just kidding! Actually, Terry's a swell guy!
Plus he's one boffo puppeteer! I wouldn't have agreed to be
his mascot otherwise! Not without catnip anyway!
So let me tell you a little about my boss! Terry got his big
break with The Jim Henson Company, performing various
Fraggles and Doozers on "Fraggle Rock"! My boss has
performed some of the most beloved Muppets for various
television specials, and even in a feature film! He also found
success on "Blizzard Island"; "4 Fish Fly Free" and countless
others independent productions, many of which he
co-created!
And not only is he a boffo puppeteer, he's also a talented
puppet designer and builder, having created countless puppets
for various productions over the years! He even created and
sold an exclusive line of puppets on eBay! Most recently, he's
been responsible for sculpting those meticulously perfect
limited edition Master Replica Muppets currently on sale.
Plus my boss Terry does character voices for animated shows
and commercials!
Okay, so I guess it's pretty obvious. I love my boss! He's got
more talent in his whole hand than most people have in their
little finger! ......I think I got that backwards.
